Application Process:

Patients can request the facility to provide details for any of the elements within the financial assistance program. The application process can require the patient to submit additional financial information to determine the qualification of the available assistance

Financial Assistance Policy:

Seacrest Surgical Center’s assistance program offers self-pay rates (discounted fee) for the uninsured, and in some cases, charity care or hardship discount assistance for those that qualify. Please contact our business office for further information on our policies. Surgeons, anesthesiologists, and Pathologists bill for their services separately from the surgery center so contact them for their programs.

Charity Care/Hardship Discounts:

We accept cash, money order, Master Card, Visa, American Express or Discover. Personal checks must be $500.00 and under with an alternative form of payment available if our check reader system does not accept the check. We are an elective facility and require an estimated payment of your deductible, co-payment, and/or co–insurance at the time of arrival and check in to our center. We utilize on-line tools to ESTIMATE patient costs. There are no payment plans. Each patient is expected to pay his/her estimated financial liability on or before the day of surgery.

Collection Procedures:

Patients are expected to pay their financial obligations in a timely manner including the estimated portion by the day services are received, and any remaining portion upon finalization. Unpaid claims by the payer may result in the account’s outstanding balance being fully transferred to the patient for collection.

Health Plans & Insurance Carriers Accepted:

Seacrest Surgical Center is currently not contracted with any insurance companies. We are currently working to draft contracts. Check back in the future for updates.

Other Providers:

Services may be provided by Seacrest Surgical Center as well as by other health care providers who may separately bill the patient and who may not participate with the same health insurers or health maintenance organizations as the facility.

Patients and prospective patients may request from this facility and other health care providers a more personalized estimate of charges and other information. Patients and prospective patients should contact each health care practitioner who will provide services in this surgery center to determine the health insurers with which the health care practitioner participates as a network provider or preferred provider. You may pay less for this procedure or service at another facility or in another health care setting.
